What we collect
When you join the AutoApply waitlist we store:
- Your email address
- The timestamp of your signup
- An optional source tag indicating which form or campaign you came from, if present
- Your browser referrer URL, if any
- Your browser user-agent string, truncated
- A salted SHA-256 hash of your IP address. We do not store the raw IP address.
We do not set analytics cookies on this site. The only cookie we set is a session cookie scoped to the /admin area, which a normal visitor never sees.
Where it is stored
Your email and the details above are stored in Amazon DynamoDB in the Sydney region (ap-southeast-2), with server-side encryption, and are not sold, rented, or shared. The one exception: when you join, we send an anonymous signup event to PostHog, our analytics provider, so we can count signups and see how people arrive. That event carries no email or name, only a one-way hashed identifier, your queue position, and any campaign tags from the link you clicked.
What we do with it
We will send you exactly one email on the day AutoApply goes live, with a download link. We do not sell, rent, share, or use your data for advertising. The hashed IP is used solely to rate-limit repeat signups from the same address.
How to delete your data
Email privacy@autoapply.com.au from the address you signed up with, with the subject line “delete my waitlist entry”. We will remove your row and reply to confirm within 14 days.
